Privacy policy.

StyleCuts Pvt Ltd (“StyleCuts”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under Pakistan’s Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (PDPA).

What we collect

• Contact details. Your name and mobile number, provided when you book an appointment, call a branch, or message us on WhatsApp.
• Appointment history. Which services you have had, which stylist, at which branch, on which dates.
• Allergy & health notes. Only if you volunteer them (e.g. “I react to ammonia”). Used to keep you safe during services.
• Receptionist call transcripts. Calls to our AI receptionist Zara are transcribed for 30 days for quality and training. Audio is not retained beyond the call.
• Website analytics. Anonymised page views and referrer (no cross-site tracking, no third-party ad pixels).

What we do with it

• Book and confirm your appointments.
• Remember your stylist preference and any allergy notes on return visits.
• Send occasional seasonal messages about bridal openings and colour promotions — only if you opt in.
• Improve the receptionist agent — call transcripts are sampled internally but never shared with third parties.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with marketers, advertisers, or affiliate partners.
• We do not store card details — payments run through our bank’s tokenised POS.
• We do not photograph you for marketing without written consent.

Processors we rely on

We use a small number of reputable processors, each bound by a Data Processing Agreement:

• Google (Gemini). Powers Zara’s text understanding. Conversations are not used to train Google’s consumer models when run through Gemini API.
• Retell AI & Twilio. Handle the phone transport for Zara’s voice line. Call audio is deleted on call end.
• Vercel. Hosts this website.

Your rights under PDPA 2023

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stylecuts.pk or speak to a branch manager. We respond within 14 days.

Retention

Appointment records are retained for 3 years for service continuity. After 3 years of inactivity records are anonymised. Call transcripts are held for 30 days and then deleted.
